Description

This is a piece originally done in my Aardcore account... but it's dead now yet I'd STILL like to continue this, so here goes.

=========

This is a collaboration of First Issue comics I have represented from these awesome comic brands. Let me just get into detail of 'em all since I think they should be heard and read.

Nov. 14 2003 Purchases=

The first three are by Kenichi Sonoda, awesome artist of such anime pieces such as Ghost in the Shell, Gunlock and this! Gunsmith Cats! I haven't finished collecting the rest of these series yet... but I plan on to.

The next two are hentai manga. Sex Warrior Isane is NOT meant for the weak at heart. I thought things I drew sexually were bad... oh man I was wrong-- Sex Warrior Isane is CRAZY! If anyone's into sexual detail (as it is a part of art less expressed and is DAMN HARD to capture sexual expressions) read into it and analyze how this piece is... but be worn... Sex Warrior Isane is CRAZY!

The next one is OH MY! This is actually the manga form of hentai videos called 'Cool Devices'. If anyone's familiar with Cool Devices, then you know what exactly's in store for Oh My! ... young school girls seducing their teachers-- fetishes... bondage... good stuff but I don't read much into it... Sex Warrior Isane's much funner to 'read'.

Next is my second prized possession-- the first issue of Spawn. I'm glad it wasn't a hefty price at like... I dunno, 20-30 dollars, it was just 9 bucks, so I thought HEY! Right on! Bought it and here it is to stay, with me! YAY! I'm so glad I got it. Was the last one in the store too man!

Next on the lot is VOLTRON! This series brought back to life through Image Comics just came out this year! Starting on May, Issue 0 came out... I didn't wanna put it in since it really didn't sport a 1 Issue number on it... so ya... but Voltron's a pretty cool comic! It still has the same cast of characters and all! Good stuff... good stuff.

Okay... if you noticed CLOSE ENOUGH, or can actually read it correctly, THE ALL NEW ADVENTURES OF MEN IN BLACK isn't a 1st Issue... it's actually #2... pissed me off but I was still happy to have it cuz it's REAL GOOD! I'm planning on getting Issue 1, whenever I find it... ... These MIB comics don't deal with the movie at all though! They actually deal with Kay before he met Jay... LOOOONG before he met Jay. This one deals with his partner who messed up in the movie, you know, he dropped his gun and Kay ordered him to kill the alien but hesitated? Ya... it's him... I got a real big understanding for what happened and pity the poor guy that he couldn't be MIB anymore... but in any case-- this is my most prized possession to date... paid $30.00 for this thing man and it's not even the first issue... I only pray the first issue is the same price *whimpers*.

Next-- STREET FIGHTER! I'm a big Capcom fan and for the fact Joe Madueira's Ryu VS Sagat piece was in here, it was a MUST HAVE for me! It has other good arts drawn up, and a SEXAY scene of Chun-Li after she multi-kicked the hell out of some dude and says "So you work for Shadaloo." Awesome stuff here, SO glad I got it.

THE AGENTS. This one was actually a "Ah why the hell not" kind of deal and picked it up... okay I'm lying-- have you seen the chick on the cover? Black Latex Leather, short blondecut hair-- the British Marker behind her? Yeah, I got it cuz sex sells okay? After googling over the cover for a while... and thinking it was a 1st Issue comic, I actually read it and dude! It's awesome! It's a what if situation kind of thing, like... what if the US and Soviet Union DID nuke one another. Ya, in this comic, Moscow and Washington DC are radioactive wastelands and the world is a lot more shifty than before. Lots of James Bond stuff in it too. Babes, cars, a hero, some side characters that fascinate... if you ever run across this series, look into it! It's REAL cool!

Nov. 25 2003 Purchases=

FINALLY! I just got the Velvet Edition of Lady Death Issue 1. They only made 10,000 of these things, and I am PROUD to own this thing, hoooo!

There's that and a BUNCH of other things I'm gonna collect later... as for now... I hunt... and ohhh lord do I hunt *looks into my empty wallet* ...

Dec. 22, 2003 Purchases=

Terminator 3, Before the Rise. I haven't gotten to look at it much, but I did. It's a series of comics based on a prequel of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. It's more of a Terminator 2.5 if you ask me. It goes into detail about how THE TERMINATOR gets sent back in Terminator 3 and why he has to save the dude in GREAT detail :P. Just another 1st Issue so ya, YAY!

Gen 13. I'm not sure how many 1st issues of this thing are there... but I'm PRETTY sure this one's the first issue. It's a decade old now and man it sure SMELLS and feels like it. It's got some pretty cool stuff in it too, grade A comic material that maps out alot of stuff. Bold storyline, lots of dialogue... pretty much a comic for the archaic admirist, if that's even a real word.

The next Gen 13 comic is more like an artist commentary. Not much stuff in there but it still makes for good collecting.

This 1st issue of Gen 13 was made a year after the other 1st issue. The style's different, but the artists are still the same, except now there's no J.Scott, but some Ben dude who helps Campbell and Garner. The story still follows up a bit from the previous one as far as I've seen, and it's still a bit of goodness to the addition, and yet, there are STILL more for me to hunt :D.

Transformers Aramada, Free Comic Day issue... I wasn't really sure about getting this or not. I was thinking "Ah hell... it's free, it's not gonna be worth anything one day." But then I thought sentimentals and... value and that it MIGHT be worth something later out of my own paranoia, so I picked it up and put it in my bag.

The next three comics after the Transformers one is this... ... it's like a Yu-Gi-Oh clone but cooler. I mean it actually makes more sense than to have some "Egyptian myth," it has its own individual 'read' to it and the drawing in it is very well done. Coloring too... The only reason I really got this was because... well... it was the 1st Issue and there were three of 'em, which are the two right after the first one, the first one being this real kick ass chrome cover, back and front. Real cool stuff... oh yeah, and notice how the two comics are blue and red, like Pokemon's Blue and Red covers back in the day.

I'm not a real fan of actually reading comics, but I read 'em every now and then but I AM A HUGE FAN FOR FIRST ISSUE COMICS... and this one's no exception since it's a preview of Image/Top Cow Illustration's 'The Magdalena'. I didn't follow up on much of the story since it was just a preview anyway... nothing much in there but uncolored pages, sketches and graphites, but it came with this certificate of aunthenticity that explains that it's an official limited edition of this comic... plus it's signed by one of the artists, so I HAD to get it! Best investment ever till I get some better ones.

The next one is reasons why girlfriend kick ass. I didn't have the money for it to actually purchase this one, but my girlfriend happened to be in sights... so... I leeched off her and she submitted. YAY! *gets whacked over the head as she's sitting here behind me, reading what I write* Mmmnnn... but yeah-- it kicks ass cuz this one's a limited edition too-- only 2,500 of 'em and I have one... I love my girlfriend so much. But ya, another piece to the collection :D :D :D.

Jan. 7, 2004 Purchases =

Spawn Batman is a Frank Miller, Todd MacFarlane collaboration. It's pretty cool cuz it has Batman and Spawn teaming together and some junk. I got it cuz it was just cool to have and I didn't even know it was signed till I noticed that on the back of the thing, it came with a little certificate of authenticity, explaining that this is an OFFICIAL copy of Spawn/Batman #1 autographed by Tom Orzechowski... oooh yea!

Next is #1 Curse of the Spawn. Eesh... I paid 7 bucks for this, I swear, I should've picked up Comic collecting a whole lot earlier in my day... but nooo I had to be the stupid little kid and play video games and think NOTHING of sentimental values... now I'm paying 2-3.5 times more the amount (and at some cases 10 times the amount) of a 1st Issue or 'Unique' comic which was a whole lot cheaper back in the day... curse me, eh?

This one hasn't exactly made its mark yet and it about a decade old now, but I got it cuz it was still 1st Issue from Image. Union... The dude looks pretty cool and I haven't read it yet, but I will. I got it cuz well... ya... 1st Issue, but also cuz of the holofoil cover-- shiny goodness.

This one I have NO idea what it is... Vanguard. I just got it cuz it sported itself as 'Fabulous 1st Issue!' and it was by Image... it looks pretty old... probably fitting into the decade category so I'm gonna look into it later. But this is just another bit for the collection so it'll get bigger.

I ran back to the comic shop later today and got TWO more comics... I couldn't exactly afford the other stuff but hey, I found the other two alternate covers to Voltron: Defender of the Universe and wouldn't ya know it? Cover C is worht 15 bucks and I bought it for it's retail price of 2.95-- and in mint condition it's 22.50, so it's a MAJOR bargain for me! WOO! YAY! ... but sadly... I'm broke again...

Jan. 12, 2004 Purchases=

Actually this one wasn't a real purchase, it was a free issue comic that was lying around so I put it into my bag before I left. It's the origin of LARA CROFT! Real cool stuff and awesome artwork. At least now I know why Lara Croft does what she does now and for what purpose LOL.

THIS ONE is an actual purchase I made since I couldn't exactly afford this real kick ass Holofoil cover of Battlechasers First Edition... gotta get 20 bucks more for that one... but in any case I got this one-- Lovebunny & Mr. Hell. This by far has had to be the most hilarious comic I've read in YEARS! It's about a blonde headed valley girl named Beth who is also a superheroine named Lovebunny who's teamed up with the most unlikely character in the world... a spawn of Satan named Mr. Hell who acts more like a sophisticated 5 year old. You never hear what he says except for the fact he grumbles and stuff... ya know... " Hrrrmmmnn" or "Raghhhh!" And his scream is hilarious to imagine when he's running off going "EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" Real good stuff-- if you come across this comic... get it. GET IT! IT RULETH!

All characters and comics presented in this collage are trademark and (c) copyright to their respectable owners and companies, believe me, if I knew how to name it all legally, I would but this'll have to do. I do this out of respect for the comic industry and my own sentimental damnation LOL.

PS- this collage WILL get bigger and the description WILL become larger as the comics drop on in :D But as for now... my wallet is empty *opens it up and sees a bunch of dust and moths fly out*.
